Reputation is important because it is something that is going to determine the kind of learning that you are going to get from that place. For example if a particular social skills group has a poor reputation this means that the group does not help other people. Reputation comes mainly from the reviews that are social skills group is going to get from the people that have been involved with it. If they give the group negative reviews than this means that the group has not been beneficial to them and therefore it has a poor reputation. As a person who is interested about learning and being involved with a group where they are going to get as much as possible please ensure that you are not lazy when it comes to doing your research so that you and see where you are working with people that are really good.
